You select interests such as AI, business, climate or a region. Sohum Plus uses those preferences to decide which stories belong in your briefing and how to explain their potential relevance. You can change interests at any time.
Sohum Plus organizes news from sources and attributes the original publisher. It does not replace original reporting. Every story should keep a path back to the original article. Sohum Plus does not claim publisher endorsement.
Yes. You can follow several topics, industries and regions at once. The briefing is meant to hold more than one beat without turning into an endless feed.
No. Sohum Plus is not a newsroom. Original reporting belongs to its publishers. Sohum Plus provides organization, AI-generated summaries and a personalized briefing layer on top of that reporting.
Summaries are AI-generated. They are designed to help you understand what happened, why it may matter, and how it might relate to your interests. They can contain errors and should be checked against the original source when accuracy matters.
Yes. Sohum Plus is designed to turn a written briefing into a voice briefing and a podcast-style listening experience. Playback capabilities will depend on the app version and your device.
Some intelligence features are designed to work with downloadable AI models on supported devices. Offline capabilities depend on your device, the downloaded model and which features are supported. Not every feature works offline.
Supported on-device models will be listed in the app when downloads are available. The website does not claim a specific model catalog until that list is published in product. Cloud-assisted features may use additional providers through a backend.
Yes. Interests, briefing length, reading or listening preference and notifications are meant to be editable. Changing them should change what appears in later briefings.
Yes. Source attribution and a “Read original” path are part of the product concept. The original publisher remains the source of the underlying reporting.
Sohum Plus is designed so that your interests belong to you. Privacy details must match the implemented app architecture. See the Privacy Policy for the current template, including placeholders for company and processing details.
Yes. AI-generated summaries and explanations can contain errors, omit context or misstate nuance. Important information should be verified with the original source. Sohum Plus should inform, not mislead.
No. AI-generated interpretations are not financial, medical or legal advice. They are not a substitute for professional judgment or original reporting, especially for markets, health, law or breaking news.
When accounts exist in the product, you will be able to request deletion from the app or through the account deletion page. Until backend details are finalized, use the contact placeholders on that page. Retention of some records may be required by law.
